You can easily adjust the watch straps to your wrist by removing the links.
To do this, locate the strap adjustment hole or the pin hole and use a verythin screw for watches or pin punch to remove the pins, which will allow you to shorten or completely remove the strap from your watch.
Once this is done, you can move the pin and insert it into the next hole in your watch strap so that it fits your wrist better.
This is a very simple process that you can accomplish with a regular tool and a bit of patience.
Holes in the leather are punched using a special tool called a puncher. Perforating one’s bracelet is necessary to prevent the bracelet from slipping in the buckle while leaving enough space for it to be easily pulled through the buckle once it has been adjusted by hand.
Note that it is extremely rare to have to perforate a leather strap to shorten it. The watches feature pre-perforated leather straps designed to easily fit wrists of any size.

The best way to ensure the longevity of your watch is to give it the care and attention it needs. This means having it cleaned and overhauled every three years or so.
Periodically clean the dial with a soft cloth or cotton swab. Use mild soap and water as needed, but never use abrasive cleaners or chemicals on the glass or silver or gold parts of your watch.
Only wear your watch on clean, dry skin; do not wear it when swimming or bathing, as this may damage the seal and cause moisture to seep inside the mechanism. If it gets wet, rinse it as soon as possible and let it air dry before wearing it again. Never immerse your watch in water unless you are sure that its water resistance allows it.
Protect your watch from sudden temperature changes by storing it in an airtight case when not in use (this will also prevent dust from settling on its surface).
Add oil every two or three years to lubricate moving parts; consult your manual to find out how to do this.
